A source register—not just a document count
Each source is registered separately with an internal identifier, title, type, filename or web address, and—where available—publication date, access date and file fingerprint. The database then preserves more detailed source records that can identify a page, line, native record or other locator.
This matters because a number displayed in a report should be traceable back through the database to the record and document from which it came.
Use this page when you want to verify the foundation behind a report. Start with the source families and scale, then search by a document name, year, subject, filename, or internal source code. Inclusion proves that a source is registered; it does not prove that every possible source has been collected or that every interpretation is correct.
